Reiko's Doll Exhibition at Aijima Art Village (047-189-2864)
Friday February 22-Monday, March 31
Reiko Takahashi, the Kimemomi doll teacher, is having an exhibition of her work on Genji Monogatari (Tale of Genji) and Hina Ningyou at Aijima Art Village, a national Heritage Site in Abiko. You can join the March Tour and enjoy the dolls. See details at March Tour.

Christmas Washi Paper Crafts:

Come and have some fun making your own handcrafted Christmas Washi egg decorations and case boxes for them using traditional Japanese Washi paper from Kyoto.
Tokuko Tanaka will teach you how to make these beautiful Washi paper
crafts on Monday November 5th.

 

 

Hashizume sensei, the Sumie class teacher, will be having an exhibition of her students' work. Your friends will display their "Sumie" at an exhibition that will be held Oct.9th(Tue) to 14th(Sun) from 10:00-18:00 at the Matsushima Gallery in Ginza. The gallery is located on the opposite side of the Matsuya Department Store.

Hashizume sensei will also have a display her work at Jiyu-Gadan-Ten (Exhibition) at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum in Ueno from Nov.14th to 21st. For further details please call Hashizume at 048-463-2899.
