Friday, September 19, 2008 In the Boso-no-Mura Museum, an ancient tomb group and a village forest environment are preserved. In addition, a street of merchant households, old samurai residences, and farm houses from the Edo era to the Meiji era are reproduced, complete with scenery and a natural environment. The Boso no Mura is a museum where traditional lifestyle and craft-making techniques from the ancient times to the modern age can be directly experienced. The museum aims to encourage you to develop a love of history and nature, and support your understanding of traditional Japanese culture.
