Soul and Reincarnation

Guardian spirits: Generally, a guardian spirit is either one of the spirits created by the duplicating of a single soul or else it belongs to one of the groups of six made up of a core spirit and five branch spirits.
Guiding spirits: When a soul comes down to Earth with an important task to achieve, it should be provided with a guiding spirit who is a specialist in the most important facet of the person's life.

In the ninth dimension: Although great spirits have individual character, they are made up of too much energy to be contained within a human body, and when they come down to the third dimension they are obliged to use only a small part of their consciousness to do so. When the soul leaves the body to return to the ninth dimension, it becomes a part of the memories of the great spirit.
In the eighth dimension: The Great Guiding Spirits in this dimension are also great spirits, but they have a more developed and individualist character, and generally remain in Heaven in a complete/undivided form.
In the seventh dimension: The spirits have quite individual characters. All of them have accumulated experiences of life as humans on Earth. As a rule the El Cantare spirit group operate in basic groups of six at a time. The leader of the group is regarded as the core spirit; the other five members as branch spirits. Each of the six takes it in turn to come down on Earth and carry out the work of the Bosatsu ('angel), while one of them takes on a monitoring and supervisory role as 'guardian spirit' for the spirit actually on the Earth. The experiences of each individual spirit are shared by six members, and all of them have a similar disposition.
In the sixth dimension: The spirits rarely have a mind to act as a member of a group of six. Each Individual operates independently, and little understands such terms as 'brother soul', ' sister soul', 'core spirit' and 'branch spirit'.
In the sixth dimension and below: The core spirit is mainly involved in protecting and guiding the spirit undertaking spiritual practice on Earth. If ever the nature of events experienced on Earth is such as to cause serious deviation of the characters within the group of six spirits, threatening to disrupt the group altogether, the group is re-formed through the power of Buddha's light.
