　遺跡の年代測定に高精度の放射性炭素測定法（ＡＭＳ法）が注目されている。 調査が進むと三内丸山をはじめ多くの古代遺跡の年代がよりはっきりしてくるだろう。

Determining Age through AMS

The highly accurate AMS method of age determination, using radioactive carbon, is being applied to more and more archeological finds. As investigations continue, many questions about Sannai-Maruyama and other ancient sites will be settled with certainty...and new ones will surely arise.
