三内丸山遺跡から出土した土偶

　三内丸山からは約1,300点の土偶が見つかっている。 数は少ないが石や岩を材料にしたものもある。 板状であり、女性像が多く、大きさや模様、表情は様々だ。

Earthen Dolls of Sannai-Maruyama

About 1,300 earthen dolles have been found at Sannai-Maruyama, plus several stone ones. All are flat, and depicting women. Sizes, surface patterns and facial expressions are quite varied.
