I know that Nagoya Union Church has a special place in the lives of many people. Hundreds of people have briefly been touched by the Spirit as well as by the gathered lives of Christ's people while a part of this congregation. In the context of a lifetime, our time together there would be considered quite fleeting, Still, it has left an impression on many who went on to serve in other places and touch the lives of others. Nagoya Union Church is a place where people are allowed to develop their faith and their ability to share their God-given gifts with others. For some it changed their lives. For some it meant that they went on to other places of continued growth and leadership in the faith. In some metropolitan areas, there are small groups of those who were in Nagoya Union Church at the same or nearly the same time who still see one another, and we have recently had the joy of being included in their get-togethers. Twice, we have been able to enjoy fellowship suppers of NUCI - "Nagoya Union Church International" - in the Detroit area. In the past we have been able to touch base with those in the Dallas Fort Worth area.

This made me aware of two things: 1. Some of you might like to share pictures of your get-togethers for others to enjoy. And you might like to reconnect with those whom you do know. If you would send a jpeg (jpg) file with a title, I would be glad to mount it on this site. 2. I know that some of you are not in metropolitan areas where fairly large groups live. It might be of interest to you, to renew contacts also. If you would like to begin a list of NUCI people, I would be glad to put it together. It would not be published on the Internet. It would only be available to those who have been part of the life of NUC. If something of this sort would be of interest, please contact any whom you know who might like to be included. We may not remember every person who was a part of our life in Nagoya, but we should be able to figure out together a convenient and helpful way of reconnecting for continued growth.
