Each year Students from our Presbyterian Founded Kinjo (Golden Castle) School visit America to brush up on their English and receive a taste of home life. These trips are made up of 36 high school girls who are accompanied by three teachers. They stay two-by-two in homes of church members (in homes with teenage daughters if possible) and spend a week in companionship with their American Parents and American siblings. Some group trips are usually planned by the inviting church(s) as well as activities designed to introduce them to that area of the US and to its particular cultural heritage. In the past they have visited the following areas.

The Home Stay Program is scheduled for the week of August 3 through August 7 in 1999. (Please note the dates just changed from 7/2-7/6) The dates for the year 2000 have not yet been announced, but it will probably be at about the same time in August. We are actively taking applications for a Host Church or Churches for both of these years.
