
Roger Darricarrere pioneered dalle de verre
glass techniques and brought them to America from France after
WWII. Darricarrere graduated from the Ecole des Beaux Arts in
Paris and served as a spy in the French Underground during
World War II. In addition to glass work, Darricarrere also
created painting, sculpture, and metal castings. He passed away
in 1984.
