Kristin holds a degree in Fine Art from
California State University, Northridge, and taught there
before being invited to Japan on an art exchange program.
Kristin apprenticed with Roger
Darricarrere in Los Angeles for 5 years while attending
university and after graduating.
In addition to glass art, Kristin apprenticed with two
pioneers in education, Dr. Betty Edwards (Drawing on the Right
Side of the Brain) and Dr. Georgi Lozanov (accelerated
learning). She established RBR, a studio art school featuring
the Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain techniques in Tokyo
in 1993. She has conducted seminars and workshops worldwide.

Curriculum Vitae
Born in Santa Monica, California. Apprenticed for 5 years at
the stained glass studio of Roger Darricarre. Graduated with a
B.A. in Fine Art from University of California, Northridge.
Taught extension stained glass class there after graduation
Owned "The Light Through Yonder Window" glass studio in Studio
City before being invited to Japan in 1980 on an art exchange
program. Has lived in Japan ever since.
Taught at The Stained Glass Professional School in Tokyo
from 1982 until 2003. Completed many stained glass commissions
in Japan through the Mayfair Stained Glass Studio, the largest
in Japan, until 1993. Have completed many stained glass
commissions in Japan, Hong Kong, and the U.S. for banks,
hotels, public buildings, Buddhist temples, and private
residences.
