The Rainbow Educators Network came into existence in October 1997 when a group of educators throughout Japan joined forces at the JALT Conference in Hamamatsu. We come from various nations and backgrounds and sexual orientations. Anyone who is committed to teaching about GLB issues and to creating a warm and safe atmosphere for all students is welcome to join us.
