Universal International UICP-9002 7th November 2001 This album was released on 7th November, 2001, in Japan, 5 days ahead of European releases. As usual it's one of commom methods to sell Japanese CDs at high price and the label, Universal claims "Pictures of You" in the album is an extra track... Since Japanese edtion has the same tracks as UK edtion, no-one would think it so. And I have to say that the promotion for "the Greatest Hits" is pretty poor here in Japan. It's far worse than "Bloodflowers". I saw only a small advertisement for the album carried in a music magazine published a week before the album out. And that's all! The Universal haven't yet added its information on their own web site but kept busy to carry lots of information about other artists like Sting, S CLUB 7 or U2... However, some of CD shops promoted the CD by themselves with handwriting posters or cards and they seemed to work. I heard that "The Greatest Hits - limited edition" would be sold out soon. I hope all of the Cure fans get their copies before it's gone, becaues it's obvious that an extra CD "Acoustic hits" is a present to fans... I love it so much and can't wait for watching the DVD which will be out on 21st December, 2001 here in Japan. Obi: Click the picture to see its larger version [59k].

	The Japanese edition has two booklets, a 20pp. Japanese booklet printed in b/w (right picture) and an 8pp. English one in colour.
	A card with advertisement for the Cure's albums is included.
