Error Messages |
 | "Cannot open file *.avi" Most likely, you
try to open a type-1 DV AVI file. Studio 8 only supports type-2 DV AVI
files. The Studio 8 knowledge base
article explains the difference between a type-1 and type-2 DV AVI.
If you rendered the AVI, see whether the application has an option to
render type-2 DV AVIs. If you need a DV file converter you can get a
free one from
Canopus or from
Ulead. Microsoft descibes DV Video Data in AVI files in this
document. |
| "Studio not enabled for PAL" This
error message occurs when you try to open a PAL encoded file or files
that are using 25fps. The
US version
of Studio 8 only supports NTSC, while the European version supports
both PAL and NTSC. If you own the US version and you do require PAL
support, you will need to buy an European version of the product (see Studio
8 knowledge base
article). |
