| The DV Codec quality pretty much
determines the quality of the video output to tape or AVI (when
using the DV codec). While the standard Microsoft DV codec is not
considered bad, the
MainConcept DV Codec is generally considered better. |

Help (formarly VCD Help) You have created
your first disk and it does not work on your player. Your player may
or may not support support certain media (CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW,
DVD+R, DVD+RW). It may support DVD-R, but not DVD+R, or vice versa.
Even if it supports CD-R, media of some manufacturers may not work.
Your player may support the media but not the format (VCD, SVCD, CVD,
miniDVD, XVCD, XSVCD, DivX (MPEG-4). The VCD Help website provides a
comprehensive compatibility list of DVD players. |
