. . . .and then we released 'boys don't cry' and 'standing on the beach'
and 'staring at the sea' and went to holland for the pink pop festival which
was fab and stayed around europe miming to various songs on otherwise very
dodgy europe tv shows. . . .
. . . . and then the blokey party went to venice on the orient express and drank it a carriage shorter and had the concert cancelled by subby italian fire chiefs and came home by bike. . . . . . . .and then we recorded demos in london for 20 new songs and thought about calling the next record 'one million virgins'. . . . . . . .and then we played two big festivals in germany and the glastonbury one in england which despite torrents of rain was still sunny. . . . . . . .and then we went over to america for july 4 fireworks and stayed for a month and played concerts in places like new york and dallas and los angeles. . . . . . . .and then we went to san sebastian and howled at the spanish. . . .. . . .and then we played four concerts in the south of france and tim pope filmed one in orange with a hope for wide screen entertainment. . . . . . . .and then we decided it was time for a new cure album. . . . .. . . . .and the book still refused to be available. . . . love Robert x |
