ダービー(Derby)


　1748年頃にアンドリュー・プランシェが設立した英国初期窯の一つ。1756年にウィリアム・デュズベリーが経営権を握り、人形や風景画絵付けを初めとする高品質の磁器を製造。1770年には英国最古の磁器窯であるチェルシーを買収し、1784年までチェルシー・ダービーとして併せて経営した。その後、経営者がマイケル・キーン、ロバート・ブルアと変遷した。ブルア期(1811-48年)には粗雑な絵付けも散見されるようになり評価を落とし、1848年に閉窯した。
